You Cannot Buy These Essentials At Costco Anymore – Here’s The Full List
Chaokoh Coconut Milk
Costco stopped selling the Chaokoh Coconut Milk after PETA accused its Thailand-based manufacturer of using forced monkey labor. The animal rights group found in their investigations that cruelty was being done to monkeys. The animals were being forced to pick coconuts and were kept chained and caged. To prevent the monkeys from being rebellious, their teeth were pulled out.
Immediately after the incident caught public attention, Costco broke all ties with the Asian company. They also removed all the milk cans from their shelves. However, a statement by the company was never released, and Costco managed to brush it all under the carpet.
