Vor Jahren wurde die Familie Reimann durch ihr Auswander-Projekt im Fernsehen deutschlandweit bekannt. Die Familie lebt mittlerweile auf Hawaii und verkaufte ihr Anwesen „Konny Island“ in Texas für 500.000 US-Dollar. Andere Prominente würden wahrscheinlich dieses Geld in Autos investieren. Allerdings haben die Reimanns gerade ihren geliebten roten Cadillac von Hawaii nach Hamburg verschifft, weil er in der salzigen Luft zu schnell rostet. Die ganze Familie hat eine ganz besondere Erinnerung an das Auto – Tochter Janina wurde damit zur Hochzeit gefahren. Heute denken Ehefrau Manu und Konny Reimann jedoch an die Umwelt und fahren ein blaues Elektroauto.
