In Interviews sagt er, dass, wenn er teure Autos auf den Straßen Berlins parkt, sie gelegentlich von Neidern beschädigt werden. Nachdem Matthias Fotos mit einem Mercedes-Benz GLE in den sozialen Medien postete, war die Reaktion seiner Fans daher ebenfalls negativ. Es scheint, dass er das Auto kostenlos von Mercedes bekommen hat.
