Marie-José van der Kolk alias Loona gilt als Königin des Latino-Pop und war bereits Mitglied in der „Popstars“-Jury. Früher hat die niederländische Sängerin viele Hits gelandet und war in mehreren Ländern in den Charts vertreten. 1998 hatte sie ihren großen Durchbruch zusammen mit ihrem damaligen Musikkollegen DJ Sammy und dem Song „Bailando“. Bis heute ist die Single einer von Loonas größten Hits. Loona macht auch heute noch Musik, allerdings konnte sie nicht ganz an die Erfolge aus der Zeit mit DJ Sammy anknüpfen. Ihre letzte Single und das gleichnamige Album „Badam“ schienen 2016.
