Wonder Woman in her patriotic costume
Starring Linda Carter and Lyle Waggoner, the original Wonder Woman aired from 1975 to 1979. She may have been a real-life Wonder Woman as she got this part after beating two-thousand women in the auditions. Her superhero costume is patriotic with red and blue along with the stars, which is an ideal theme for the 4th of July celebration for the Americans. Her superpowers included jewelry that could work as weapons. She wore a bullet-deflecting bracelet that worked by flashing it in front of the bullet. This was controlled by a remote control device that she hid in her hands while filming.
