Voor de prijs van € 3500 per maand huurden Ruud Gullit en zijn vrouw jarenlang een prachtig appartement in Amsterdam, maar kochten een nieuwe flat in Amstelveen. Ondanks de prijs van € 600.000, hebben ze heel wat euro’s uitgegeven om dit luxe appartement compleet naar eigen wens te renoveren.
Deze nieuwe woning bevindt zich op de zesde verdieping en heeft een woonoppervlakte van 174 vierkante meter en telt maar liefst vijf kamers, verdeeld over drie slaapvertrekken en twee badkamers.
In de jaren 80 en ’90 werd Ruud ingezet als aanvallende middenvelder en aanvaller.
