Guy Carlier – 125 kilos, fight against bulimia
The TV and radio columnist, Guy Carlier, still weighed 250 kilos a few years ago. He explains, in a book co-written with nutritionist Jean-Michel Cohen, ‘Minus 125 – Amour Monstre’, the origin of this excess weight: bulimia. He describes this disease as an addiction, but unlike tobacco, you cannot simply stop eating like you would stop smoking!
To overcome this illness, he joined an addiction clinic, where he stayed for nine months. Guy lost 125 kilos and left his demons in the past. Today, at 71, he says he has never felt so happy!
