The late Carrie Fisher will forever be known for her iconic performance in the Star Wars franchise. She has a stunt double in Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, and her name is Tracey Eddon. The film was one of the reasons Eddon became such a notable stuntwoman.

Other famous films on her stunt portfolio are 1989’s Batman, Mission: Impossible, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. It looks like Eddon is not active anymore now that she’s in her 60s, for she hasn’t done any new films since 2017’s Paddington 2.

Shah has also done stunts for films like Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and Titanic. He’s balancing stunt work with acting work, and he’s reportedly going to appear in a new movie called Tomorrow’s Taken. According to the Guinness World Records, Shah is the world’s shortest stuntman.

Johnny Depp portrayed a lot of roles over the years, but one of his most popular ones is his starring role in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. His character has such a distinctive look, but they were able to replicate everything for his stunt double Tony Angelotti.

However, because of a practice stunt that got him sent to a hospital, Angelotti sued Walt Disney Co. and producer Jerry Bruckheimer for negligence in 2007. Luckily, he was still able to work after that, and his last Hollywood gig was in 2018’s The Landlady. He was the stunt coordinator for the short film.

For many years, Hugh Jackman had given life to the role of Wolverine in different X-Men movies. He might have been fit enough to do stunts then, but he still had a stunt double nonetheless. The double’s name is Richard Bradshaw, and he first did Wolverine’s stunts in X-Men: The Last Stand.

Bradshaw has made a ton of money from stunt work since the ’90s, and other actors he has filled in for were Colin Firth and Chris Pine. He won’t be stopping anytime soon, for he’s the stunt coordinator of the ongoing Batwoman series.

Some actors have just one body double, and then there’s Ian McKellen, who had two doubles for his role in the Lord of the Rings movies. Tom McLachlan was his body double, while Paul Randall was his scale double.

McLachlan was part of different famous films like X-Men: The Last Stand and King Kong. Randall, on the other hand, only did stunt work for The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings films. McKellen might continue to need doubles because he still acts until today. He’s going to star in the movie Hamlet Revenant, which is still under pre-production.

Runyard booked a lot of superhero films over the years, and the other notable ones were Iron Man and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He got to act from time to time, but stunt work was more his forte. The last movie he worked on was 2018’s Ant-Man and the Wasp.

If you watched the iconic Titanic film, then you would remember how hard it must’ve been for Kate Winslet to spend hours acting soaked in water. The truth is, her life was made easier by her stunt double Sarah Franzl. They have similar facial structures, and they sported the same hair color while filming.

Judging by how big of a hit Titanic was, we’re sure Franzl also got to earn a massive sum for the job. Her other notable stunt performances were in films like Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and Justice League. She’s reportedly the stunt coordinator of the upcoming series Little Birds.
