Bryce Dallas Howard & Stunt Double Whitney Coleman – Jurassic World

When Bryce Dallas Howard joined the cast of Jurassic World, she knew that her character was going to have some thrilling scenes. She did partake in many of them, but stuntwoman Whitney Coleman was the one who did the more challenging stunts.

Coleman does a lot of stunt work for films, but TV shows also love using her skills. Some shows she was part of were Ghost Whisperer, Grace and Frankie, and The Bold and the Beautiful. She’s reportedly the one who did Millie Bobby Brown’s stunts in the upcoming Godzilla vs. Kong movie.

Lynda Carter & Stunt Double Jeannie Epper – Wonder Woman

Before Gal Gadot became the modern-day Wonder Woman, people knew Lynda Carter for being the original superheroine. She starred in the Wonder Woman series back in the ’70s, and her body double was named Jeannie Epper.

Epper comes from a family full of stunt people, and the most recent film she did stunt work in was 2015’s Hot Pursuit. She didn’t always do stunts, though, for she also got to make money from on-screen acting. Epper had roles in films like Kill Bill: Volume 2 and The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean.

Johnny Depp & Stunt Double Tony Angelotti – Pirates Of The Caribbean

Johnny Depp portrayed a lot of roles over the years, but one of his most popular ones is his starring role in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. His character has such a distinctive look, but they were able to replicate everything for his stunt double Tony Angelotti.

However, because of a practice stunt that got him sent to a hospital, Angelotti sued Walt Disney Co. and producer Jerry Bruckheimer for negligence in 2007. Luckily, he was still able to work after that, and his last Hollywood gig was in 2018’s The Landlady. He was the stunt coordinator for the short film.

Margot Robbie & Stunt Double Ingrid Kleinig – Suicide Squad

Margot Robbie can do her own stunts when she plays Harley Quinn on the big screen. However, there are still scenes where a double stands in for her. Her stunt double in the Suicide Squad movie back in 2016 was Ingrid Kleinig.

Kleinig landed into the stunt world while swinging 140 feet over the Opening Ceremony arena of the 2000 Olympic Games. Now, superhero films are her forte, being part of Justice League and Captain Marvel as well. She’s doing stunt work for Robbie yet again for the 2021 film The Suicide Squad.

Hugh Jackman & Stunt Double Richard Bradshaw – X-Men: The Last Stand

For many years, Hugh Jackman had given life to the role of Wolverine in different X-Men movies. He might have been fit enough to do stunts then, but he still had a stunt double nonetheless. The double’s name is Richard Bradshaw, and he first did Wolverine’s stunts in X-Men: The Last Stand.

Bradshaw has made a ton of money from stunt work since the ’90s, and other actors he has filled in for were Colin Firth and Chris Pine. He won’t be stopping anytime soon, for he’s the stunt coordinator of the ongoing Batwoman series.

Léa Seydoux & Stunt Double Gemita Samarra – Spectre

Léa Seydoux is the most recent actress who played a Bond girl on the big screen. She was part of 2015’s Spectre, and she’s now going to appear in the upcoming No Time to Die movie. Gemita Samarra was her stunt double during Spectre, and she was just as beautiful as the actress.

Samarra started doing stunts in films and shows back in 2014. She did some for Game of Thrones, while also acting in one episode of the show in 2015. It looks like she plans to grow a directing portfolio because she co-directed a 2018 documentary short film titled Beyond Roads.

Carrie Fisher & Stunt Double Tracey Eddon – Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi

The late Carrie Fisher will forever be known for her iconic performance in the Star Wars franchise. She has a stunt double in Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, and her name is Tracey Eddon. The film was one of the reasons Eddon became such a notable stuntwoman.

Other famous films on her stunt portfolio are 1989’s Batman, Mission: Impossible, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. It looks like Eddon is not active anymore now that she’s in her 60s, for she hasn’t done any new films since 2017’s Paddington 2.
