Zooey Deschanel & Stunt Double Monica Braunger – New Girl
Zooey Deschanel’s role in New Girl might’ve been comedic, but it involved a lot of stunts. Her stuntwoman on the show was Monica Braunger, and they worked on a total of 48 episodes. The show wasn’t their first project together, though, for their first tandem was in 2008’s Yes Man.
Braunger’s portfolio as a stunt actor is impressive, and some other famous movies she was part of were The Frontier and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. She last doubled for Emily Wickersham in the show called NCIS back in 2018, and it looks like she’s been taking a break since then.
