These Childhood Toys Are Worth A Small Fortune
$6,000 worth Darth Vader’s Telescopic LightSaber
The worldwide audience watched in awe as George Lucas presented a new futuristic appeal to moviemaking. Yes, you guessed it right; The Star Wars. It almost immediately gave birth to a toy giant. That took a positive toll on the merchandise, as for any serious collector of the toys from the Star Wars franchise costing $2.49 each, in 1978 was a must-have.
The Telephonic lightsaber Darth Vader toy in today’s collector market is worth at least $6,000. The extended lightsaber was considered unpopular by customers back then, which resulted in Kenner only making a few hundred of the toys.
