These Childhood Toys Are Worth A Small Fortune

Annoying Little Furby

Do you remember when the Furby first appeared in 1998? In the retail aisles, parents were fighting with each other to get their hands on the electronic gift. The toys could communicate, make strange noises, and have blinking eyes. The National Security Agency (NSA) once banned the toys from Fort Meade due to fears that they may be used to listen in on conversations.

The initial price of the toys was $35, but some of the valuable editions in perfect condition are now fetching upwards of $900. That’s a lot of money to spend on something that so many people dislike.
