The cost of the Cabbage Patch kid’s “adoption fee” is high, way high. It was a kid’s toy whose “adoption fee” in 1984 was for $40. Also, the hand-stitched sculptures were made by Xavier Roberts. Now they are reintroduced in a newer form after eight long years.

You might as well resell one of the original 1984 dolls. Considering its condition, if it’s great, then the doll can also be sold for $1,000 and upwards today itself. Although not with the same enthusiasm, the doll was recently re-issued, compared to its first debut, which took place three decades ago.
