Sue Lyon – Lolita, 1962
From a teenage model to a well-established actress and fashion icon. This is how one can define Sue Lyon’s incredible journey. She is an American actress who has featured in movies like The Night of the Iguana, 7 Women, and Tony Rome. However, she came into the spotlight after playing the lead role in the 1962 film Lolita.
There were reports that Sue was selected amongst the 800 other girls who auditioned for the same part. Interestingly, she was just 14 years old when she played the role of Dolores “Lolita” Haze. She became the fourth-youngest actor to win a Golden Globe Awards.
