Mary Lou Retton, 53
Mary Lou Retton is one of the most prominent Olympic athletes. She was the first American woman who won the all-around gold medal in Olympic gymnastics in 1984. Besides, she also gained two silver medals and two bronze medals. Retton was also named the “Sportswomen of the year” for her great performances in the sports illustrated magazine.
Later, in 1986, she officially retired from sports. Apart from this, Retton also appeared in a few movies and TV commercials. Besides, she is also a successful real estate developer and investor in Houston. According to the online reports, Retton’s net worth is estimated at $8 million.
