Bart Wayne Conner is a retired American gymnast. Conner won two gold medals in the 1984 Summer Olympics Games. His passion for gymnastics grew when he got involved in school gymnastics activities. Later at the age of 14, Bart won the Junior National Championship in 1972. Further, he started gaining success in gymnastics. He further won a teal gold medal in the 1975 Pan American Games. In the 1984 Summer Olympics, he won a team gold medal and one for the men’s parallel bars.

He got the USA a gold medal after 80 years under the category of men’s parallel bar. Further, in the same competition, he made his own move known as “Conner Spin.” Soon after his retirement, he owned an academy in Oklahoma as Bart Conner Gymnastics with his wife, Nadia Comaneci.
