Roger Waters & Shakira Shares A $16 Million Island
The pop singer Shakira and Pink Floyd bass guitarist Roger Waters share a gorgeous 700 acre Bonds Cay island, located in the Bahamas. The pair bought this island for $16 million with a plan to transform the island into a luxury resort.
Waters and Shares came up with the idea to reinvent the concept of tourism and planned to make an artists’ retreat. The island would flaunt plenty of luxury condos, including hotels, private beaches where millionaire holiday makers would use it as an exotic getaway. The island will also have an array of private speed boats and an 18-hole golf course. It will undoubtedly become a big attraction for vacationers.
