The vet and rangers had to wait for the lion to fall asleep so that the vet could put a few more injections to put the lion completely into sleep. After a few minutes had passed, the people started noticing that the lion’s movement was slowing down.

Finally! The lion was slightly going to sleep. And, now, the vet could easily put some more sedatives into him to make the lion unconscious, at least for a little while, to get everything into proper order. Things were obviously messed up, and now it could be systematized.
