Mehmet Scholl zählte während seiner aktiven Karriere als Profifußballer sicher nicht zu den Geringverdienern. Anfangs betrug sein Jahresgehalt bei den Bayern 1,5 Millionen Mark. Er hat jedoch auch nach seiner Profikarriere sein Vermögen durch profitable Nebeneinkünfte aufgestockt: Scholl wirbt für die Automarke Dacia und arbeitete jahrelang als TV-Experte für die ARD bei diversen Fußballereignissen wie Länderspielen und die WM 2014 in Brasilien. Nach Informationen belief sich sein Gehalt als Moderator und Sportkommentator auf 250.000 Euro pro Jahr. Zudem ist er Gründer und Geschäftsführer des Münchner Plattenlabels Millaphon Records. Die ganzen Nebenverdienste nach seiner ohnehin schon lukrativen Profikarriere führen zu einem Vermögen von rund 38 Millionen Euro.
