Tina Turner, geboren als Anna Mae Bullock am 26. November 1939, ist eine ikonische amerikanische Sängerin, Songwriterin und Schauspielerin. Sie ist bekannt für ihre kraftvolle Stimme, mitreißende Bühnenpräsenz und zahlreiche Chart-Hits. Nach ihrer Trennung von Ike Turner startete Tina eine erfolgreiche Solokarriere. Ihr Debütalbum “Private Dancer” aus dem Jahr 1984 wurde ein großer Erfolg, brachte ihr mehrere Grammy Awards ein und verkaufte sich weltweit millionenfach. Bekannte Songs auf dem Album sind “What’s Love Got to Do with It”, “Better Be Good to Me” und “Private Dancer”. Obwohl Tina 2009 offiziell ihre Karriere beendete, kehrte sie 2018 kurzzeitig zurück, um das Musical “Tina: The Tina Turner Musical” zu präsentieren. Im Laufe ihrer Karriere hat sie bedeutenden Reichtum angehäuft und hinterlässt ihrer Familie ein beeindruckendes Vermächtnis im Wert von knapp 2,5 Milliarden US-Dollar.
