Bekannt wurde der Sänger Angelo Gabriele Kelly in den 90er Jahren als jüngstes Mitglied der irisch-amerikanischen Musikgruppe « The Kelly Family ». In Europa gehörte « The Kelly Family » mit über 20 Millionen verkauften Tonträgern und zahlreichen Auszeichnungen zu den kommerziell erfolgreichsten Bands. Zwar schaffte es die Band bereits im Jahre 1980 mit dem Song “Who’ll Come with Me” auf Platz 1 der belgischen und niederländischen Charts schaffte, der endgültige Durchbruch gelang ihr aber erst 1994. Über 4,5 Millionen Mal verkaufte sich das Album Over the Hump” in Europa. Geschätzt wird das Gesamtvermögen von Angelo Kelly auf 4 Millionen Euro.
