At the age of six, Christina Plate was shooting commercials for children’s clothing and appeared in various commercials with her mother. After making her screen debut at the age of eleven in the ZDF television series Kinder, Kinder, she played alongside Thomas Ohrner in Manni, der Libero and worked as a voice actress. She has been in a relationship with presenter Oliver Geissen since October 2007, whom she met in the summer of 2007. Plate and Geissen have also been married since September 2009. The couple have a son together who was born in October 2008. Her estimated net worth is €2.5 million.
