Viele Prominente hatten das luxuriöse Anwesen im französischen Stil besessen, bevor er es vor etwa fünfzehn Jahren erwarb. Berichten zufolge hat Nolte die extravagante Malibu-Villa in den letzten zehn Jahren mehrfach auf den Markt gebracht, aber noch immer nicht verkauft.
