Her broadcasting job started with a cadetship at EON FM in 1980. 2 years later, she moved to television, reporting on state politics and crime on ATV- 10’s Eyewitness News in Melbourne. She also continues to read the 5 PM news in Melbourne.

Her friendly nature, along with her white wardrobe, gives her the classic look of a leader. She is married to Ben Faggetter, a director at Weltmeister, with whom she raises two children.

In 2016, she became a huge personality when she was announced as the presenter of Seven News at 5, which airs on Sundays and Saturdays. When she is away from work, she indulges in yoga, painting, and creative writing. She is often spotted on the red carpet wearing designer clothes.
