They Were Never Ready For A Serious Emergency

When the RMS Titanic had its Maiden Voyage back in April 1912, the thought of colliding with an iceberg didn’t cross anyone’s mind. The ship’s safety features like the remotely activated watertight doors and watertight compartments were advanced, but they should have invested in more lifeboats.

They were able to provide many people with life vests, but it didn’t do much since merely jumping into the cold water will be the death of you. Sources revealed that the ship could have enough lifeboats for everyone, but the captain didn’t think it was necessary.
