First-Class Cabins Had Connecting Rooms

Most of the rooms in the first-class rooms featured connecting rooms. There was a smaller room that had a bed, and sources say that it was for those with children. Other wealthy people made their butlers stay in a smaller room.

Connecting rooms don’t surprise anyone today, and people can usually get good deals thanks to hotel packages. In case you were wondering, the situation in the second and third-class area of the Titanic was completely different because they used bunk beds and had to use shared bathrooms.
