김종완 – 싱어송라이터
김종완은 대한민국의 싱어송라이터이다. 김종완은 1991년 록밴드 ‘넬’로 연예계에 데뷔했다. 넬은 매력적인 멜로디와 문학성있는 가사로 대한민국을 대표하는 밴드로 자리잡았다. 김종환은 현재까지 정규 8집과 여러 싱글을 작곡하며 활발한 활동을 이어가고 있으며, 넬 뿐만 아니라 다양한 가수들의 히트곡을 프로듀싱하기도 했다. 김종완의 음악에 대한 열정은 타의 추종을 불허할 정도로, 프로듀싱을 할 때에는 30시간 이상 자리에서 움직이지 않는 것으로 알려져있다.
김종완은 이러한 경력을 기반으로 MBC ‘스타오디션 위대한 탄생’, JTBC ‘슈퍼밴드’ 등 다양한 오디션 프로그램의 심사위원으로 출연하기도 했으며, 최근에는 Mnet ‘포커스’의 심사위원으로 출연했다.
김종완은 ‘넬’을 비롯해 다양한 가수들의 히트곡을 작곡하며 상당한 수입을 올리고 있는 것으로 보이며, 공연을 진행할 때마다 수천석에 이르는 좌석이 몇분안에 매진되는 등의 인기로 봤을 때에 싱어송라이터로서도 손꼽히는 수입을 기록할 것으로 추정된다.
