ROSIE MERCADO – (240 POUNDS) – GASTRIC SLEEVE SURGERY
Rosie Mercado, a plus-size model, underwent an incredible weight loss transformation, shedding 240 pounds. She achieved this through gastric sleeve surgery, after initially starting her weight loss journey through natural methods. At one point, she weighed 410 pounds, but once she had dropped to 300 pounds, she found it challenging to continue losing weight and keeping it off.
Recognizing that natural methods were not effective for her, Mercado made the decision to undergo surgery. Although her transformation has been remarkable, Mercado disclosed to People magazine in 2016 that the hard work began after the surgery. She has to avoid unhealthy foods entirely or suffer the consequences.
