According to the retired NFL player, Joe Thomas, playing an offensive tackle required him to carbo-load nearly every two hours. At the end of his 11-year career, he couldn’t wait to cut back on the meals and reach his goal weight, which he eventually did.
With the help of Cleveland Brown’s dietitian Katy and the app, MyPlate – Joe has never looked better weighing in a healthy 255 pounds. The athlete has explained that the stress of weigh-in days is behind him, and he enjoys a healthier lifestyle by understanding what to consume and what not.
