Nate Newton – 75 Pounds, Life-threatening Weight Gain
It is widely known that American pro-football players suffer from weight loss and gain, both on and off-season, as well as after retirement. For Nate Newton, packing an extra 75 pounds after his reign ended with the Dallas Cowboys was nothing short of problematic. Afraid of not seeing his children grow up, he underwent a gastric sleeve surgery.
Just six months after the procedure, Big Nate wasn’t that big anymore, and seemingly, unrecognizable since his decision to lose weight. While some may consider Nate’s extreme weight loss unhealthy – his doctor confirms otherwise.
