David Carter, the former defensive lineman for the Dallas Cowboys, played a position that required him to bulk up and block the opposing team. At 305 pounds, he suffered from tendinitis and high-blood pressure, which forced him to make certain lifestyle changes.
After watching the acclaimed food documentary, ‘Forks and Knives’, David decided then and there to go vegan. Within six weeks of staying away from meat, he noticed an extreme difference in his body. Now a model and advocate of plant-based diets, David leads a 40-pound lighter, happy and healthy lifestyle.
