The late Fred Astaire is still today considered to be one of the most influential dancers in history. He achieved most of his fame in movies, television, and on stage, having performed in numerous musicals, programs, movies, and plays.
Recordings of Fred’s dancing are still being studied today, while audiences know him from Three Little Words, On the Beach, Funny Face, and more. Fred was married twice and had two kids, while John Astaire is his grandson. John is a musician; a percussionist primarily, and he performs solo and with various ensembles throughout the USA, at universities and events.
