Les années passent, Eugene accumule les réussites professionnelles, après avoir obtenu de nombreuses promotions. Il est maintenant riche mais non moins beau et charmant. De plus, les femmes attirées par lui sont nombreuses. Mais la blessure de l’échec de son mariage semble toujours aussi fraîche.
Il a développé une aversion pour l’amour et les relations amoureuses. Il était difficile pour lui de tomber amoureux une nouvelle fois.
