Iconic Stars From The 70’s, 80’s, 90’s – Where Are They Now?

Faith Hill – Age 52

If there were a list of the most prominent female country-music stars ever, Faith Hill would be in the top 10. Having sold more than 40 million records worldwide, she’s one of the best-selling country-music artists, and she’s managed to amass a staggering $165 million net worth.

So far, Hill has released eight studio albums, with the latest one being the 2018 record The Rest Of Our Life. It was recorded with her beloved husband, Tim McGraw, who is also a country music artist. They are currently considered the power couple in the genre, and they share three children.

Lisa Bonet – Age 52

Lisa Bonet was one of those lucky teenagers who managed to get a spot in the iconic The Cosby Show. Having appeared on 119 episodes, Bonet became a teenage star in no time, having significant earnings from a pretty young age. Bonet’s also famous for her appearances on A Different World and High Fidelity. 

Though she continued acting, Bonet didn’t manage to land as lucrative roles as she once did. In 1987, when she was just 20 years old, Bonet married Lenny Kravitz, with whom they had Zoe Isabella Kravitz. Their marriage ended in 1993, and in 2017, she married Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa, with whom she’s been since 2005. They now have two children together.

Rebecca De Mornay – Age 60

Rebecca De Mornay was a huge name back in the ’80s and ’90s, and even if she’s 60 now, she doesn’t even think about retirement. She rose to stardom after appearing in Risky Business in 1983. Her subsequent roles were even more impressive. Her acting portfolio includes credits in Runaway Train, The Three Musketeers, and Wedding Crashers. 

Back in 1986, De Mornay tied the knot to writer Bruce Wagner, but after just four years of marriage, they parted ways. She then dated Patrick O’Neal, with whom she has two children, but ended up splitting with him as well in 2002. From 2015 to 2019, she appeared on the TV series Jessica Jones. 

Krista Allen – Age 49

Krista Allen might be 49 years old, but she doesn’t look like it. We first met her when she was on Days of Our Lives, and she became even more famous after her appearance on Baywatch. Her film portfolio is equally impressive, including movies like The Final Destination, Emmanuelle in Space, and Anger Management. 

However successful her acting career may be, she hasn’t managed to be as successful in choosing a partner. Allen has gone through two marriages, which both led to inevitable divorces. She has one child. In 2020, she starred in the crime film Psychos & Socios, while she’s got more projects coming up for 2020 and 2021.

Catherine Bell – Age 51

Though she might not be so relevant these days, Catherine Bell was a renowned actress back in the ’90s and early ’00s. She rose to stardom with her portrayal of Lieutenant Colonel Sarah McKenzie in the super-popular TV series JAG, where she appeared from 1997 to 2005. Bell’s also famous for her roles in Army Wives and Bruce Almighty. 

From 2015, Bell has been starring in the TV series The Good Witch, while in 2019, she reprised her role as Sarah McKenzie on NCIS: Los Angeles. Like many other celebrities in Hollywood, Bell has been following the church of Scientology. She has two children with Adam Beason, with whom she divorced in 2011.

Elisabeth Shue – Age 57

Elisabeth Shue is best known for her roles in movies like The Karate Kid, Cocktail, Soapdish, and Hollow Man. She was nominated for the Academy Award, Golden Globe, and BAFTA for her superb performance in Leaving Las Vegas.

Shue’s career took a hike after her nomination for Oscar. It helped her land in diverse roles opposite some really great actors. She has also starred in popular television series like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and The Boys. The mother of three, Shue is married to Davis Guggenheim, who is a film director. Even at the age of 57, she still looks desirable, just like when she was younger.

Erika Eleniak – Age 50

Erika Eleniak is an American actress known for her role in the series, Baywatch as Shauni McClain. The actress got her first aired on the silver screen in The Extra-Terrestrial in 1982. She has also starred in The Blob.

The actress was cast in The Beverly Hillbillies as Elly May Clampett. She was also a part of the romantic comedy, Chasers. The actress also amazed her fans with a video game appearance in the game Panic in the Park. Erika appeared in her reality TV stint on The Real Gilligan’s Island in 2005. She was last seen in Boone: The Bounty Hunter in 2017. The actress currently lives in Calgary.

Christie Brinkley – Age 66

Christie Brinkley might be 66 years old now, but she can easily be compared to young models. Having graced more than 500 magazine covers and being one of the most highlighted women on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues, Brinkley is considered one of the most prominent feminine symbols of all time.

Her net worth is around $100 million, and she’s also ventured into acting and business as well. Brinkley’s appeared in films like National Lampoon’s Vacation and others. Brinkley was supposed to appear on Dancing With the Stars in 2019, but due to personal reasons she had to call her participation off.

Audrey Landers – Age 65

The TV star is an actress and singer; she is well known for her role as Afton Cooper on the primetime soap opera Dallas. Another famous role of hers is Val Clarke in the movie version of A Chorus Line in 1985. Landers began acting at the age of 9 when she first appeared in a community theater musical. Audrey studied music at the Juilliard School and majored in psychology at Columbia University.

Soon after, Landers moved to Los Angeles, where she landed the role of Afton Cooper on Dallas. As the years passed, Audrey even produced and co-directed several shows. She even worked alongside her sister actress Judy Landers.

Joan Van Ark – Age 78

Most famous for her role as Valene Ewing on the primetime television series Knots Landing, a spin-off show of Dallas. Joan is a lifetime member of The Actor Studio, making her Broadway debut in Barefoot in the Park in 1966. Van Ark went on to win a Theater World Award while also nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play.

From there on, Joan’s acting career took off, and there was no looking back. Amongst all her success, she fell in love with John Marshall and married him in 1966. Ark gave birth to their daughter Vanessa, who is a voice actress, model, and singer.

Cathy Podewell – Age 57

The American actress Cathy Podewell is known for portraying the role of Cally Harper Ewing in Dallas. Cathay’s inspiration came from her paternal grandparents, who were actors as well. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she majored in theater arts and dancing.

From there on, Cathay went on to star in several movies and television series. Along the way somewhere, she met the love of her life, Steven Glueck. The couple tied the knot in May 1989. Later, they raised three children. After having children, Podewell took a break from Hollywood to focus on motherhood. Though she inevitably returned to the industry.

Shelley Long – Age 71

The American actress and comedian sky-rocketed to fame for playing the role of Diane Chambers on the hit sitcom Cheers. Her performance in Cheers got her five Emmy nominations; in 1983, she won for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. Long won two Golden Globe Awards for the same role.

More recently, she played the recurring role of DeDe Pritchett on the ABC comedy show Modern Family. Shelley attended Northwestern University, where she studied drama; however, she dropped out to pursue a career in modeling and acting. Finally, she got her first break as an actress by doing commercials in Chicago.

Staci Keanan – Age 46

Staci Keanan is an American law professor, deputy district attorney, and former actress. Staci is best known for playing the part of Nicole Bradford in the sitcom My Two Dads. Keanan began her modeling career at the age of five. She appeared on television advertisements, radio, and print. Staci was the voice actor for My Little Pony and was on television commercials for Burger King and Hershey’s Kisses.

Keanan studied law at the Southwestern Law School and was accepted to the State Bar of California in 2013. Currently, she is practicing law under her birth name, Anastasia Sagorsky, in LA. She is married to actor and producer Guy Birtwhistle.
