Nehemiah Persoff – 101 Years

Nehemiah Persoff is an American actor; he retired in 1999. After his retirement, he pursued painting and specializing in watercolors. Persoff has acted in more than 200 television shows, films, and plays in his 52-year career. Originally born in Jerusalem in 1919, Nehemiah emigrated to the United States in 1929 with his family.

Nehemiah started his acting career in the New York theatre after serving in the army during World War II. During the war, he was a subway technician, maintaining signals. One of his early roles was of the gangster boss Bonaparte in Billy Wilder’s film Some Like It Hot (1959). He also did supporting roles in movies.

Johnny Mathis – Age 85 

John Royce Mathis, who goes by the name Johnny Mathis is a famous American singer and songwriter. His career started with releasing singles of standard music, for which his prominence rose as an album artist.

Moreover, some of Mathis’s songs were ranked at Billboard chats with achieving success and fame, out of which some of them still rank. Well, this dashing man is an American actor, singer, writer, and composer, spokesman, television personality, motivational speaker, and what not. Pat Boone was born on 1st June 1934 in Jacksonville, Florida, the U.S. During the 1950s and early 1960s, he was a popular Pop singer in the United States.

Pat is known for selling 45 million records, giving 12 hit Hollywood films and 38 Top 40 hits. Apart from his career, if we talk about his studies, he graduated from David Lipscomb High School, Nashville, in 1952. Boone is a great-great-great-great grandson of Daniel Boone, who was an American Pioneer. Boone’s marriage to Shirley Foley ended in the 1960s.

Bob Newhart – Age 91

Bob Newhart is a comedian who can even make the grumpiest person laugh his heart out through his hilarious sense of humor. Fame came naturally to him in the 1960s after he launched The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart, a funny monologue. The album soon topped the billboard charts. Other than this, he made notable appearances in numerous TV shows and films. The Bob Newhart Show was a major hit and went on to air six seasons comprising 142 episodes. He even won a Peabody Award for his show.

His peculiar performances won the hearts of millions of people worldwide and earned him Grammy Awards thrice for different categories.

BILLY DEE WILLIAMS – 84 YEARS

Renowned for his role in “Star Wars Franchise,” Billy Dee Williams has made several records in his career. He returned to portray the same character after thirty-six years. He made his film debut in 1959 with the film “The Last Angry Man” but gained national attention in 1971 with ABC’s television movie “Brian’s Song.”

Billy has been married three times, and he currently resides with his third wife, Teruko Nakagami. In 2019 there were rumors about him being gender-fluid as he referred to himself using both masculine and feminine pronouns, which he later clarified by saying that he was just illustrating and not referring to himself.

Jane Powell | Age 92

This charming beauty is an American actress, dancer, and singer. Jane was born on 1st April 1929 in Portland, Oregon, U.S. Moreover, this 92 years old pretty woman gained her fame in the mid-1940s when she got the roles in several Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer musicals. She is on the list of the last surviving stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood.

Apart from this, her notable works include A Date With Judy (1948), Seven Brides For Seven Brothers (1954), Royal Wedding (1951), Hit the Deck (1955). Jane Powell is a member of Trustees for the Actors’ Fund of America. Furthermore, she got married five times in all and has three children.
