JOYCE DEWITT – AGE 73

Born on 23rd April 1949 in West Virginia, Joyce Anne Dewitt is an American actress who is prominently known for her outstanding performance on the ABC sitcom Three’s Company, in which she played Janet Wood from 1977 to 1984 and received tons of appreciation for her role.

DeWitt started making stage appearances at the young age of 13. She is an exceptional woman who knows what she wants from life and goes all out to make it happen. Joyce has successfully portrayed dozen of characters in shows like Finder of Lost Loves, Noises Off, Cybill, and Pinky and the Brain. Presently, she is shining on in the world of theatre.

Joy Harmon – Age 82

Born in Flushing, New York, this hypnotizing beauty moved to Connecticut in 1946 to pursue a career in show business. Initially, she became a participant in the reality show “You Bet Your Life. She has also been a part of many television series such as Gidget and Batman. Additionally, she is widely known for her roles, such as car washing Lucille in “Cool Hand Luke.”

Furthermore, she was married to the film producer and editor Jeff Gerson. Their union lasted for almost three decades, and they were blessed with three children. On top of that, she even opened a bakery called Aunt Joy’s cakes in California.

Thelma Barlow – Age 93

In her early days, Thelma worked as secretary. Born in England, her most promising role was in Mrs Henderson Presents, a british comedy film. She starred alongside Judi Dench. For her performance, she even got nominated in British Independent Film Awards for Most Promising Newcomer in 2005. This widely popular soap opera personality also played the role of Mavis Wilton in Coronation Street, a british show. She played this role for around two decades.

On the personal front, she was happily married to Graham Barlow. But soon the couple parted ways due to uncited reasons. Both were the parents of two children.

Pattie Boyd – Age 78

A famous international model, Pattie and Jean in the 1960’s were one of the prominent faces of British females. As a model, her stunning looks, elegant attire, and long straight hair left many stunned. Aside from this, she is equally popular as an acclaimed photographer and works for her exhibitions. She also released Clapton and Harrison’s photographs in 2005 in a show called Through the Eyes of a Muse.

Petula Clark – Age 89

Petula Clark is blessed with a voice sweet as sugar. For the first time, she broke into the limelight as a child artist who entertained world war 2 troops on both radios and in concert. She ventured to radio in 1942 and sang It’s All Yours. By the 1950’s, her singing career picked up the pace; she became an international sensation and released many hit singles.

Her film career began when she came across Maurice Elvey at London’s Royal Albert Hall and offered her a role. Medal For The General was the first film of Petula, and she later went on to play different roles in several memorable films.

Angie Dickinson – Age 90

With six decades of acting career, the famous Angie Dickinson has won many hearts with her skills and beauty. Throughout her acting career, she has appeared in more than 50 films, including China GateThe Art of Love, Ocean’s 11JessicaThe Killers, and many more. Angie Dickinson also starred as Sergeant Suzane in the NBC crime series Police Woman.

She received Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress, three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. With such appreciation, Dickinson also became the leading actress in the erotic crime thriller Dressed to Kill and received a Saturn Award for the Best Actress.

MILLICENT MARTIN – AGE 88

Millicent Martin was born in 1934 in Romford, England. She is known for Nothing But the Best, Theatre Night, and Downtown. Martin was very popular on the Billboard Singles Charts in 1963 with In the Summer of His Years, taken from the BBC-TV tribute to John F. Kennedy. She is also trained with Olympic divers.

Martin is probably more recognized in the U.S.A. for her recurring role on the hit television series Frasier. Since 2017, she has appeared in Grace and Frankie as Joan-Margaret and is now a permanent resident of the United States.

Katarina Witt – Age 56

Katarina Witt has won the hearts of many with her creativity and delicate mastery over figure skating. The German national is often remembered for winning two Olympic gold medals in 1984 and four World Championships throughout her career (1983-1988). Additionally, she has earned six consecutive European Championship titles from 1983 to 1988.

Witt’s athletic accomplishments and forays into the entertainment industry make her one of the most prestigious figure skaters in history. She retired from competitive skating to begin a career as an actress. Therefore, her career spans from skating to modeling, appearing on Playboy magazine covers, and having a cameo role in Jerry Maguire.

Susan Dey – Age 69

The life of Susan Dey has been nothing less than a roller-coaster ride. The actress is known for her fascinating role as Laurie Partridge in The Partridge Family that rose her to fame.

Apart from that, Dey was also seen in L.A. Law, a drama series where she played the character of Grace Van Owen. In 1988 she received the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Series for the same. LIV ULLMAN – AGE 83

Liv Ullman is a renowned European actress who made her stage debut in the mid-50s and film debut in 1957. Ullman successfully worked for Swedish director Ingmar Bergman in Persona, The Passion of Anna, and Face to Face. In 2012, she attended the International Indian Film Academy Awards in Singapore, where she was honored for her Outstanding Contributions to International Cinema. There she also showed her movie on her relationship with Ingmar Bergman.

Ullman received an honorary degree, Ph.D., from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. In 2019, she was honored with a day of her film work during the Turner Classic Movies Summer Under the Stars.

ELLEN BURSTYN – AGE 89

Born in Michigan, Ellen Burstyn left academics and worked as a dancer and model. At age 24, she made her acting debut on Broadway in 1957. However, stardom followed several years later with The Last Picture Show, nominated for the Academy Awards. In her late 30s, she learned spirituality and got a spiritual name Hadiya, which means “she who is guided” in Arabic.

Burstyn appeared in Kornel Mundruczo’s drama film, Pieces of a Woman, and received immense popularity. She has again played the role of Bernadette Stabler on Law & Order: Organized Crime in its second season in 2021.

CORRINE RUSSELL – AGE 58

Corrine Russell has been a successful Page 3 girl and glamour model. She debuted as a model in August 1982. She also came to be known as Hill’s Angels of The Benny Hill Show. In 1983, she became a part of Flick Colby’s Zoo dancers on Top of The Pops.

Her relationship with Ulvaeus and her friendship with Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Benny Andersson eventually led to the pop group “ABBA”, that sold over 180 million albums worldwide, making it one of the best-selling music acts in history. After the unofficial break-up of “ABBA”, Fältskog found renewed success later in the decade as a solo artist and actor.

Fältskog and Ulvaeus married but parted their ways from each other after nine years of marriage. Fältskog currently lives in Stockholm County with Christian Ulvaeus, his partner, and their daughter. Fältskog’s daughter, Linda, also lives in Ekerö with her family. Fältskog has four grandchildren.

ANNI-FRID LYNGSTAD – AGE 76

Anni-Frid Lyngstad is a Swedish singer and songwriter, best known as one of the founding members and lead singers of the Swedish pop group “ABBA.” Lyngstad reached international fame when she joined this group, which has sold over 150 million albums and singles worldwide. After the break-up of “ABBA,” Lyngstad continued an international solo singing career with mixed success, releasing the albums “Something’s Going On” and “Shine,” the latter being her last international album.

Lyngstad married Prince Heinrich Ruzzo of Reuss, a prince of the former sovereign House of Reuss; since then, she has held the titles of Princess Reuss and Countess of Plauen.

SIAN ADEY-JONES – AGE 64

Sean Adey-Jones is a Miss Wales and has been a second runner-up in Miss Universe that same year. She also represented Great Britain at Miss International a year later. She soon turned to topless modeling and became The Sun’s Page 3 Girl of the Year in 1981.

After appearing in an action movie, she called off her modeling career and moved to Ibiza. She is now living here with not much known about her at present. She has been away from public life for many years and chooses a peaceful life away from the humdrum of a celebrity. Her fans trace her to know about her life.

Michael Parkinson – Age 87

Michael Parkinson always seemed to be the voice of reason. He was a reporter for BBC’s 24 Hours and Granada Television before becoming their presenter of the Cinema series in 1969. He hosted Thames Teabreak after that. But it wasn’t until 1971 when Michael got on his own show, Parkinson.

Parkinson began his career as a journalist at a local newspaper, straight out of school. He wrote feature articles for the Manchester Guardian and later worked for the Daily Express. Besides, Michael also worked in the army for two years and was the youngest person at the time to be awarded the rank of Captain.
