Nancy Kwan – Age 83
Nancy Kwan is a Chinese-American actress and philanthropist known for her roles in the 1964 film Fate Is the Hunter. In addition to her acting career, Nancy is also a professional dancer. She was barely 18 years old when she started learning ballet at the Royal Ballet School in England.
It was the renowned producer Ray Stark who noticed her acting and dancing abilities. However, Kwan, who lacked acting experience, traveled to the United States at Stark’s suggestion to enroll in an acting program in Hollywood. Further, he put her through a test and handed her the lead role in the film, which ended up being a career-defining performance for the actress.
