GOLDEN AGE STARS WHO ARE STILL ALIVE AND DOING GREAT AT RETIREMENT!

JENNIFER GREY – 61 YEARS

This American actress made her debut in 1984 with the flick Reckless. But, got recognition from the 1986 comedy film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Before making her debut on the big screen, she did an advertisement for Dr. Pepper at the age of 19. She is the daughter of the acclaimed screen actor Joel Grey.

Ever since 1979, she has managed to entertain her fans and is not in the mood of retiring anytime soon. She was last seen in the 2020 sitcom The Conners, while her upcoming projects are yet to be announced. Grey also participated in the Los Angeles 2017 Women’s March.

TRINA PARKS (AGE 74 YEARS)

Trina Parks was born in Brooklyn on December 26, 1947. She is an American actress best known for her appearance in the movies like Darktown Strutters, The Muthers, and Immortal Kiss: Queen of the Night. Parks set an example as the first African American woman to play Thumper, the glamourous bodyguard, in the 1971 James Bond movie titled Diamonds Are Forever.

Aside from her film credits, Trina has also shown her brilliance in several television shows, namely Night Gallery, The Hollywood Palace, McCoy, and Dionne Warwick Special. She does not believe in limiting herself to a particular position and hence is additionally also a vocalist and talented choreographer.

LANA WOOD – 75 YEARS

Lana wood is an American actress who played Sandy Webber on ABC’s prime-time soap opera “Peyton Place.” In the early days of her career, Wood only appeared in films alongside her sister Natalie. But it was the year 1958 when she first bagged a significant role in the comedy-drama film “The Long, Hot Summer.”

Marianne is an American actress who appeared in films like “The Oscar,” “How To Stuff A Wild Bikini,” “The Love Machine,” “The Giant Of Thunder Mountain.” At present, the actress is not working but has also not announced her retirement. Also, Marianne is not active on any social media platform and stays away from the limelight.

Although she has not bagged many awards, one of the awards in her kitty includes an Entertainer’s award for “Hee Haw.” The actress was formerly married to Kenny Rogers, but their marriage failed miserably. The actress is single and was last married to Melissa Hunt Trikilis, and they remained together until his demise in 2019.

Gunilla Hutton is a prevalent name in the film industry. The actress was romantically involved with acclaimed jazz singer Nat King Cole at the age of twenty. But later, when his wife confronted him, they had to end this relationship. The actress has three children and resides in America.

PAM GRIER – 72 YEARS

Known for being the first female action star, Pam Grier is an acclaimed American actress last seen in the 2019 film “A Christm, as Wish” and has some upcoming projects in the pipeline. In the initial years of her career, she appeared in films that had nothing substantial for her to do but with time, things changed, and she ruled the industry later.

She loves nature and has associated with the National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum to teach people about organic gardening, health, and nutrition. The actress currently lives on a ranch in Colorado and is still single as her love life has been extremely turbulent.

Gloria Hendry is an American actress who was born on March 3, 1949. Additionally, she worked as a model in the initial stage of her career. In 1965, Hendry began her career as a model for the New York Playboy Club, and in 1968, she made her acting debut in the film For the Love of Ivy.

She even authored the book “Pawprints of Katrina” about the most extensive pet rescue in history. Additionally, she has also acted in many television series such as Winds of war, Dynasty, and China Rose.
