Famous People Who Died & Will Always Be in Our Hearts

Harold Ramis

Harold Ramis co-wrote and acted in the cult films Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II as Eagon Spengler and as Russell Ziskey in Stripes. He also directed films such as Caddyshack, National Lampoon’s Vacation, and Analyze This. Ramis won a Bafta along with Danny Rubin for the screenplay of Groundhog Day.

He is considered one of the greatest comedic filmmakers in American history. Ramis passed away at the age of 69 in February 2014 from vasculitis, an autoimmune disease. This was a four-year health battle of not even being able to walk. He left behind four children from his two marriages and a relationship.
