Alan Thicke
Alan Thicke was a Canadian actor and TV show host. Mostly remembered as Jason Seaver, the beloved father, and psychiatrist on the TV show Growing Pains. He also hosted several Canadian game shows, including First Impressions and Pictionary. In 2013, Thicke was inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame for his remarkable career.
In real life, he was the father of actor Brennan Thicke and singer Robin Thicke. In December 2016, Thicke collapsed while playing hockey with his son Chris and died of a ruptured aorta at the age of 69. He was married to Tanya Callau in 2015 at the time of his death.
