Wenn man sich einen Automaten vorstellt, der anstatt Geld Gold ausgibt, dann woanders als in Dubai? Im Mai 2010 wurde der Automat, der in Deutschland entwickelt wurde, im luxuriösen “Emirates Palace Hotel” in Abu Dhabi eingeweiht. Der Automat ist in der Lage, kleine Goldbarren im Wert von einem, fünf und zehn Gramm auszugeben, wie es ein Geldautomat mit Bargeld tut. Er zeigt auch die aktuellen Wechselkurse live an. Der Automat hat schon in den ersten Minuten nach seiner Einführung zahlreiche Schaulustige angezogen. Es ist ein wahrhaft einzigartiges Erlebnis, das die Menschen ausprobieren können und das möglicherweise eine Gold-Revolution einleiten wird. Heute gibt es solche Automaten an verschiedenen Stellen in Dubai.
