Die Sängerin Lena Valaitis lebt heute in München und ist bereits unglaubliche 77 Jahre alt. Obwohl sie bereits viele Jahre aus dem Rampenlich getreten ist, erinnern sich ihre Fans immer noch daran, wie sie mit dem Song „Johnny Blue“ 1981 als Schlagersängerin beim Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin ihren größten Erfolg feierte. Damals belegte sie dort den zweiten Platz. Dies war der Durchbruch, mit dem niemand gerechnet hatte. Danach folgten zahlreiche Fernsehauftritte und Konzerte, sowie zu einem Plattenvertrag bei Philips. Unglaublich, wie nur ein Song dieser talentierten Sängerin zu solch einer Karriere verhelfen konnte!
