Peter Maffay – Age 71 years
With more than 14 million records sold, Peter Maffay hot is one of the most successful musicians in Germany. He is also a composer, music producer and actor and shows a special social commitment. Together with Rolf Zuckowski and Gregor Rottschalk, Peter Maffay brought the fairy-tale character “Tabaluga” to life and composed various, very successful concept albums for this, such as “Tabaluga and the shining silence” (1986) with more than 750,000 sales. Even at the age of 71, rock star Peter Maffay is not thinking about retiring. “Musician’s pension is worse than death!” he said in an interview.
