MAYBRIT ILLNER & RENÉ OBERMANN, 11 JAHRE
Im Jahr 1988 heiratete Maybrit Illner den deutschen Drehbuchautor Michael Illner, dessen Nachnamen sie annahm. Nach 19 Jahren Ehe trennte sich das Paar jedoch. Als Illner in einer ihrer Sendungen auf den Manager René Obermann traf, entwickelte sich aus dem zunächst beruflichen Gespräch viel mehr als zunächst gedacht. Illner trennte sich von dem Krimi-Drechbuchautor Michael Illner und auch René Obermann trennte sich von seiner damaligen Partnerin. Seit 2010 sind Maybrit Illner und René Obermann verheiratet. Obermann ist seit 2020 der Chef des Verwaltungsrats der Airbus SE. Ein Kind hat das Paar nicht.
