Anke Engelke ist der deutschen Comedy Szene schon lange ein Begriff, sie hat über die Jahre hinweg die deutsche Comedy-Kultur mitgeprägt. Was viele aber nicht wissen ist, dass sie Ursprünglich gar nicht in Deutschland geboren wurde, sondern in Canada! 1971 erst ist sie mit ihren Eltern nach Deutschland gezogen. Ihre ersten Schritte in der deutschen TV-Branche hat sie bei der „Funkausstellung“ gemacht und ihren Durchbruch feierte sie dann mit der Show „Ladykracher“. Sie ist sogar die deutsche Synchronstimme von Marge Simpson! Im Mai 2015 trennte sich die Schauspielerin leider von ihrem langjährigen Manners und Vaters ihrer Kinder Claus Fischer.
