DAWN FRENCH AND MARK BIGNELL |9 YEARS
Dawn Roma French, an English “BAFTA” nominated actress, comedian, and writer, is best known for her lead role as Geraldine Granger in the fictional sitcom “The Vicar of Dibley.” She is also recognized for co-starring in the satirical skit “French and Saunders.” Dawn is happily married to Mark Bignell, a therapist who runs a charity founded by Dawn’s mother.
Mark didn’t know about Dawn or her work until a meeting was set up by her mother, Felicity, to introduce the two. The Vicar of Dibley star wasn’t looking for a romantic involvement at the time but got swept off her feet with Mark’s intellect and kindness.
