She went by her new name after marrying him. Mary became widely recognized as an occasional presenter of Good Afternoon, one of Thames’ daytime shows at the time.  Later going on to present alongside Michael when he returned to ITV in 1975 until 1980. They have three children, namely, Andrew, born in 1960, Nicholas, born in 1964, and Michael Jr., born in 1967. Along with that, they have eight grandchildren.
