Celebrities Transformations: This Is How They Looked Once Upon a Time

Julie Andrews

Britain’s youngest prima donna, Julie Andrews, began acting at a very young age when she appeared in West End (1948). Julia rose to prominence with My Fair Lady in 1956. Her first television appearance was in 1957’s Cinderella, which was seen by over 100 million live viewers. Apart from these, Andrews has contributed to several other feature films, including Mary Poppin and The Sound of Music

After developing hoarseness in her voice, Andrews underwent surgery that led to permanent loss of her singing voice. However, despite losing her singing voice, she moved on with different projects in her pocket and was also honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007.
