Steve Carell
With Steve Martin, Peter Sellers, and John Cleese as an inspiration in acting and comedy, Steven John Carell made sure to carry forward their legacy. The American actor, comedian, writer, director, and producer is best known for his role as Michael Scott in The Office. The series gained mass recognition and is one of the most-watched series to date. Carell was recognized as America’s Funniest Man by Life magazine and has received various accolades for his performances.
Raised in a Roman Catholic, Carell earned a degree in history from Denison University in Granville. He was a member of Burpee’s Seedy Theatrical Company while he was studying in Denison.
