Chadwick Boseman

Born in South Carolina in 1977, Chadwick Boseman was initially a stage actor, writer, and director. He landed on television with gigs in shows like Lincoln Heights. Boseman’s breakthrough came when he portrayed two prominent African-American icons – Jackie Robinson and James Brown. After that, Boseman landed with the role of Black Panther for Marvel superhero films and the successful Black Panther, which released in 2018. 

Chadwick’s first television role was in 2003, where he acted in an episode of Third Watch. His early work also comprised Law & Order and ER. Even after getting significant roles in the industry, Boseman continued writing plays.
